We found ladybugs in the Rose Garden at our local park on Saturday, April 10.. Morning temperatures warmed up to 68 degrees, so ladybugs arrived to climb on rose bushes looking for breakfast.

First there was only one, then two, then three and four. One of our parents captured them in a plastic tube so we could watch them closely. We watched them scurry all over the the inside of the plastic collection tube..  We all celebrated! Lissette’s mom opened the cover of the tube. The ladybugs quickly flew out and into the sky.
